• REGISTERING TO PLAY

In order to play the game, you must be a registered player. All registered players will have access to the game schedules, weekly and yearly standings and weekly NFL results. All players and groups will be required to register in order to PLAY the GAME. In order to become a registered player, you will be required to enter your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and you will choose your screen name, password, and a password hint.

  • BONUS POINTS

Bonus Points will be earned by getting new Players to play the game.  Every Player that is listed (Registration) as "The Player who introduced a new Player to this game" receives one Bonus Point for every three 'New Players' that played the game in the prior week. 

  • PLAYING "FOOTBALL CHALLENGE 2005"

Everyone can play this challenge, for FREE. Simply, choose the winning team from each NFL football game played that week. Rank each game in order of your personal preference. Your 'sure shot' should be given the highest point value (15) for the number of total games played that week. Rank every game in descending order down to your 'pick-um' game, which is, assessed a (1) value. Every game that is predicted correctly will receive the point value it was assigned. Losing and tie games receive no value. The player with the most points WINS $$$.

All players will be ranked weekly according to the sum of their point values. The player with the highest point total for the week gets 100 'Season Points'. The player with the next highest point total will earn 99 'Season Points', and so on. The player at the end of the season (17) weeks with the most 'Season Points' will win the $$$Jackpot!

All TIES are broken by:
1. The number of games predicted correctly
2. The time and date in which the picks were made

Any registered player may participate in any weekly game. You do so by:
1. Creating your own picks
2. Copying the picks of another player

Either way, the picks for a game must be submitted before the cutoff time, and once submitted, cannot be changed. The cutoff time will be one (1) hour prior to the start of the first game of the week (all times are EST).

A CONFIRMATION E-mail notification will be sent to you showing your submitted picks for that week.

  • VIEWING STANDINGS.....Anyone can view the following information:
    1. Weekly Standings: the players participating, along with their picks
    2. Weekly Standings: identifying group or pools', and the $125. winner
    3. Season Standings: identifying 'Season Points' for the $$$Jackpot
  • PRIZES

Weekly:
Players with competitive skills can also play for a weekly prize of $125. The cost to play for the weekly prize is $5. All weekly prize players will receive a UpickTheWinners T-shirt upon their first purchase of weekly prize 'Plays'. Remember, the winning weekly prize player will NOT necessarily be the weekly 100 'Season Point' player.

Season:
The player at the end of (17) weeks with the most 'Season Points' will win the $$$Jackpot! The amount of the end of the season $$$Jackpot! is determined by the accumulation of money from the weekly prize players. Every week, the 26th (and above) weekly prize player will have $3 of their $5 weekly prize (play) fee applied to the end of the season $$$Jackpot! Each week all players will be able to watch the end of the season $$$Jackpot grow!

  • PLAYING "NFL 1 WINNER CHALLENGE"

The NFL Winners Challenge is a contest that tests your NFL knowledge against the knowledge of others. Every week, each participant chooses one NFL team that they think will WIN. If that NFL team wins, then the participant gets the point value of that NFL team. This is where the strategy comes into play. Anybody can pick the Rams to win each week. Each NFL team will be given a value from one to thirty-two for winning. The San Diego Chargers receive a value of (32) for winning. The Super bowl champs, New England Patriots, are given a value of (1). The strategy of this contest is to pick the NFL team that wins with the highest point value. Each week the participant will have their choice of all 32 NFL teams to WIN. Points are accrued from week to week, and the participant with the most points at the end of the regular season (17 weeks) WINS! The winner will receive $750. Sponsorship prizes will be awarded to the participant with the most points!
